Fashion

I've been shopping over the last couple of days and I am extremely dissapointed with the clothes in the shops at the moment. Most of the clothes are not detailed enough for my liking and its so hard to find skirts or dresses. It is becoming very frustrating. I never thought there would be a time where I couldn't find any clothes that I like in the shops. I am looking for some specific items such as a black skirt with white lace trim, floral tops and dresses, long sleeved winter dresses and tulip skirts in plain colours but I can't find them anywhere. I wish I could sew because then I could make some skirts. I've been browsing sites such as Topshop and Modcloth. They truly have the best clothes and I wish these clothes were available in Australia.

I have always loved skirts. I would like to get some more skirts that flair out rather than just straight skirts. I have quite a nice skirt collection at the moment but lately I have been having trouble finding suitable additions to it. These are my favourites from Topshop and Modcloth.

Nothing can beat ModCloth when it comes to dresses. I love the detailing, styles and colours. They are truly outstanding.

These are my favourite tops from Topshop and Modcloth. I like floral tops with bright colours. I really like the blue top with the kitten. A few days ago I had an idea to make a t-shirt with a picture of my cat who recently died. This top has inspired me to go ahead with the idea.

I'm sure I won't actually buy any of these items because there are no stores here and the postage would be so high. But it gives a general idea on what I like and I found it fun.

Outfit

Today I went to the park to take some pictures. It was very nice but there weren't any pretty flowers like the last time I went because it is winter now. I hope it is easy enough to see the design on my cardigan. It has black polka dots and a small black bow near the top (which may be cover by my hair).

RIP Pussy (24/04/96-17/06/09)

On Wednesday my cat Puss died. I found out about a week ago that she had cancer and that she wouldn't have much longer to live. It was such a shock because she didn't seem very sick except for the last few days of her life. I am so devastated about Pussy's death and I miss her so much. I've had her for 13 years (since I was 7 years old) so she has been a part of the family for as long as I can remember. Puss wasn't just a cat to me. She was my best friend. Every night for so much years we watched television together before we went to bed. I told her so many things that I would tell a best friend. I have numerous memories of Puss and I still remember the day we got her. I can't explain how much she meant to me and how much I love her.

Puss was the most beautiful cat. She had a gentle nature and she was so well behaved. She never did anything wrong. I loved her appearance. Her fur was so soft and her colourings were gorgeous. She is irreplacable.

I'll find some more pictures of Puss soon, especially from when she was a kitten. I am going to make an album and print a large picture of her to place on my wall.

Outfit

On Friday night I went to a fundraiser for cancer research. It was a semi formal event, where we had dinner, did some dancing and listened to presentations. It was a really good night and I'd like to attend more events like that. It was nice to have a break from exams and enjoy a night out. I straightened my hair and it looked reasonably good so it was nice to wear it out for a change. Also I dyed my hair to cover some of the red that was a result of hair dye thar had gone wrong. It turned out darker than my natural colour but it should lighten over time. This is what I wore on Friday night:

I have lost motivation to study for exams lately and its been boring and depressing. I'm worried that I may have failed management accounting because the exam was so hard. Also, I am so distracted with other issues that I'm not in the mood to study. My last exam is contract law, which is on Thursday. Its so close but its hard to get through the last couple of days. There are so many things I have planned for the holdiays and I'm going to spend a lot of time on my blog.

MTV Movie Awards

The MTV Movie Awards were on not too long ago so I decided to select some of the outfits that I like and some that I don't like. It was actually quite fun, I'd like to do it more often when these events occur. I didn't find many outstanding outfits but there were a few I liked. I'm sure a lot of people will disagree with my choices but thats ok, I have a fairly specific taste when it comes to formal wear.

Photobucket

-Miley looks elegant and classy in this picture. I think its a different style from what she normally wears and its a good choice. I love the colour and shape of the dress and the shoes are beautiful.
- Hayden's dress is gorgeous in almost every way. I love the way it flairs out at the end and the shape of the neckline. I also like the trim on the bottom of the dress.
- Ashley's dress is a beautiful colour and the material looks nice too. I love the belt and her hair is amazing.

Photobucket

-I don't like Kristen Quintrall's outfit at all. Maybe a casual top with this pattern in a less sparkly material would be nice, but not an entire dress. I think the yellow shoes are completely wrong.
- I'm sure Kirsten Stewart was trying to be different but I personally don't like her outfit. I think her shoes are inappropriate and I don't like the combination of colours on the dress and the pattern.
- I think Sandra Bullock's outfit is a little plain and dated. I don't like how she wore black tights and I'm not so sure about the shoes either.

Award

I received this award from Jennifer at I Know, Right? Thank you.

10 Honest things about myself:

1)
I hate my name. I want to change it but I'm not sure how practical this is. My favourite name is Chelsea.
2) I keep an online journal because I have a lot of thoughts that I never have the chance to say. I often like to analyse situations and form lots of opinions on things that have happened to me. I believe I am quite a philosophical person even though it doesn't come across on my blog.

3) I go to bed very late, usually around 2.00am and I hate it when I have to wake up earlier than 11.00am.
4) I finished school in 2007 and I miss it so much. I'd love to go back to that time.
5) I have never been to another country.
6) I haven't always been interested in fashion. Its only in the last year or two that I have started to enjoy it and pay more attention to what I wear. When I was about 13 or 14 I had no sense of style and I used to wear baggy sports clothes.

7) If I could be anything in the world I'd choose to be a professional tennis player or a professional singer. I've never had singing lessons in my life and as for tennis I haven't played in a few years. So these two things are completely unrealistic.
8) I really hate my hair because its too thin and I hate the texture. Its too damaged from straightners and hair colours. I worry about what it looks like all the time and I have to tie it up almost everyday because it looks to bad to wear out.
9) I love soft toys even though I am 20 years old. I have at least 50.
10)
I don't like travelling on planes because I'm scared that something will go wrong.

Outfit

This weekend has been the worst. Its the Queen's Birthday long weekend here in NSW and while everyone else has been relaxing and having fun, I have been stuck at home completing my take home law exam. I bet this was a deliberate technique of the law department to schedule the exam on the long weekend, just to test students. I know a lot of other people in the course feel the same way as I do. When the exam came out I totally freaked out since the questions looked really hard and I had absolutely no idea how to start them. But last night I started to understand them a little more and I completed the first essay by late Saturday afternoon.

On Saturday night I went out for dinner and to the movies with Rydog, his mum and his step dad. We saw State of Play. Although not typically my style of movie, I really enjoyed it. It was a little complex and hard to understand though. In a way I guess I shouldn't have gone out while an exam was pending but I would have felt too depressed otherwise. I'm not the sort of person who can study for continual days because I don't have the discipline and it makes me feel bored and sad. I was dreading the point where Saturday night had to come to an end. I should go to sleep soon but I'm delaying it because I know I will feel so depressed in the morning.

Anyway, these pictures were taken on Friday afternoon. I spent a short amount of time with Rydog at a park before the take home exam was released.

I will be so relieved once I have finished the exam. Its due on Tuesday but I hope to have it completed by Monday night. I'm so lost as to how to answer one of the questions and I really don't feel like studying. Sorry for being so boring and negative in this post.

New Bag

I bought this bag last Thursday night from Forever New. I loved it as soon as I saw it. The main reason I bought it was because it matched my pink coat and pink skirt that I wore the night after to Rydog's birthday. Also, because the bag is a very light pink I have realised that it looks good with a lot of my outfits:

On Friday night I went to Rydog's birthday dinner. I had a good night but I can honestly say that it was the fastest night of my entire life. I wish it could have lasted a bit longer. It would have been good to have some pictures but that didn't really happen. I did a few other fun things this weekend as well as some study. Like always, I didn't study as much as I should have. I should go to sleep so I can start fresh tomorrow.
